Brighton Marina September Spectacular Launch Party for the newly extended Boardwalk.
Gok Wan, celebrity stylist turned DJ will be making a special guest appearance at this evening of entertainment.
There will be drummers, stilt walkers, fireworks and music on the Friday 2nd September 2016.
Brighton Marina is in walking distance from the White House hotel brighton and can also be reached by bus. The Marina features a working harbour and there are a good variety of shops and leisure activities as well as places to eat and drink whilst enjoying the picturesque Marina location. For instance, there is the traditional family run Italian Restaurant Bella Napoli, the Cherry Tree café sells homemade cakes and is a great place for lunch whilst you can experience the sumptuous taste of spit-roasted meat as part of the rich dining tradition presented at Casa Brasil.
Casa Brasil is one of the six new restaurants to open on the recently extended Boardwalk. The other five are Bella Italia, Five Guys, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Las Iguanas and MOD Pizza.
Generally the Marina is a lovely place to spend time alone or with company and if you would like to explore further then the Undercliff Walk east of the Marina is really quite a beautiful experience and truly inspiring. This cycle friendly pathway from the Marina leads to the suburb of Saltdean and is lined by chalk cliffs which face the seawall and beach beyond. There are places to take a break from your journey along the promenade and to eat and drink or you could pack a picnic and enjoy choosing where to stop as each part of the beach has unique character.
