The much-loved Children’s Parade, with thousands of students from local community groups and schools taking part with handmade costumes, marks the beginning of the 50th year of the Brighton Festival...
The primary school children of the city have been invited to create the ultimate Brighton ice cream flavour by Boho Gelato, The Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival, ChildFriendlyBrighton.co.uk and the Rockinghorse Appeal.
The local school children are drawing and labeling their ice cream idea on a piece of A4 paper with their name, age, class and school on the reverse. These entries need to be posted or dropped into Boho Gelato, 6 Pool Valley, Brighton BN1 1NJ by 30th April so that a panel of expert ice cream judges can select their favourite five flavours. These five chosen flavours will then be created and go on sale at Boho Gelato from Thursday 21st – Friday 29th May 2015.
The ultimate winner will be announced on the food festival’s Live Food Show stage, Hove Lawns at 10.30am on Saturday 30 May 2015. Following this, the persons winning flavour that is most popular with Boho Gelato’s customers will be sold at Boho Gelato to raise money for Rockinghorse children’s charity throughout 2015.
